Clara and I have been camping... twice! I am hoping to drag Eric along, I think he will enjoy it. For now, he stays home with Amelia, and I can't complain too much.
Camping trip #1, April 18-20
We tagged along with my friend, Sarah, and her family. We went to Three Island Crossing at Glenn's Ferry, close to twin Falls, Idaho. We slept in their camp trailer. Clara had her 1st camp fire, she was a RIOT! We went swimming in a warm springs pool and went on a treasure hunt. Of course, Clara loved every second of it. The Snake river is beautiful and I would love to go there again.
Camping trip #2, May 9-11
This time we rented our own little cabin. Eric still refused to go, so Clara and I had the place to ourselves. We went with 2 other families (Sarah's and Jen's) who had camp trailers. The place we visited this time was Bruneau Dunes, south of Mountain Home, Idaho. It was pretty cool , there were huge sand dunes. The kids played in the sand and the adults relaxed.
The weather is getting warmer, so I am not sure how many more camping trips are on order for this summer, but we will go again this fall. Who knows, maybe Eric will join us, maybe not.

Hello! We are the Davis family. I am Jill, my husband is Eric. We have two fabulous daughters, Clara and Amelia. We have a beautiful home in Kuna, Idaho. Life is fun, exciting, and very entertaining around here. Browse around, you will see for yourself.
Jill
Aka: Mom. I am the boss. Most of my days are spend working hard to improve our finances (yep, I have a plan!)... My best days are spent with my daughters though. I also like to work on picture editing, run my vinyl business, hang with my mommy friends, and be a wonderful wife. Well, I try. I enjoy being outside and reading when I get the chance.
Eric
Aka: Dad. Eric spends his days working. When he is not off making the money that keeps this family functioning he enjoys video gaming, reading, playing with the girls, golfing, and being with his wonderful wife. Well, he better. I have to say, he is the best dad and a pretty great husband too.
Clara
Clara... Let's see, where do we begin. Clara is a very smart and sensitive 5 year old. She is a wonderful big sister and puts up with Amelia quite well. Most of the time. She is still as witty as ever, cracking us up all the time! She is a super star in pre-school, enjoys books and going to the library, and comes up with very elaborate pretend play stories. Usually involving fairies and princesses and rainbows. And Unicorns.
Amelia
Oh Amelia. Can we say terrible 2's? My sweet little baby has turned into a very stubborn and trouble making 2 year old. I mean, she is cute as ever... but watch out. When she is not throwing a tantrum (which involves throwing everything in sight - the messier the better) Amelia loves playing with her babies, stuffed animals, and whatever Clara is playing with. She talks cute 2 year old talk and will melt your heart. Most of the time.
